1. Registration Fee
Team registration is $40 ($10 per person).
2. Teams & Liability
Limit of 20 Teams. Teams must include four people (ages 18+, men or women). Teams can represent any business, restaurant/bar, community organization, church or simply a group of friends. You may also register more than one team; however, the same individual cannot compete on more than one team. Safety is a high priority and the drag race is meant to be a fun charitable competition. Prior to competition, every individual must sign the Queen City Drag Race liability waiver.
3. Competition & Prizes
Up to $1,000 in prizes will be given for Overall Winner's Circle - First, Second & Third. There are competitions each team will compete including: Drag Race Challenges, Costume and Theme and the Most Money Raised. Placement in these three competitions will determine the Overall Winner's Circle. Plus there will be "Going the Extra Mile" prizes for Team Spirit, Miss Congeniality, Best Dressed Drag Team and Best Drag MakeUp. Heels must be at least 3 inches high and each competitor must have a wig to wear during competition.
4. Raising Money
Each team is asked to raise as much money as they can for their charity of choice. There is a "Most Money Raised" competition from your team which goes toward the OVERALL DRAG RACE TROPHY. All money raised beyond the $40 registration fee must be turned in the day of the race before 3 p.m.
50% of all money raised will go to the 1st Place Winning Team's charity of choice
30% of all money raised will go to the 2nd Place Winning Team's charity of choice
20% of all money raised will go to the 3rd Place Winning Team's charity of choice
