Charlotte Eagle

The place is great. Bartenders are hot hot hot and the music is great. The crowd has its "groups" but otherwise everyone Ive met there is very friendly.

Cover was way expensive for non-members...12 bucks on the night I went and didn't seem to be anything special going on to warrant it. Drinks were weak and more expensive than other gay bars in area. Crowd was rather "stand and model" and very cliquish. Music was good but not for dancing, dance floor seemed to be wasted space. Bar was nice and clean but in need of an overhaul. Leathershop was small with great merchandise but guy running it was not very helpful. Might be a nice place to meet with friends for a quick drink before heading elsewhere.

Great place to meet great people.. lots of great people

Wished we had found this bar early on. It was pretty quiet by time we got there. We had spent so much time just trying to find a "REAL" bar in Charlotte. Wouldn't you think in a city of over 2 1/2 million in metro area that the place would have a decent Gay crowd? Anyway back to Eagle. It was quite modern, seemed to have a good sized dance floor, pretty well kept up. Would give this place a chance again for sure. And what was even better was there was a great after hours coffe shop located in same shopping strip. There was some funny drunk ass people in this place at 3am.
